A fiery sizzling platter loaded with spicy rice, crunchy vegetables, crispy delights, and bold devil-style sauces—crafte
A fiery and flavour-packed sizzling platter featuring spicy rice, colourful stir-fried vegetables, crispy delights, and bold devil-style sauces. Served piping hot, this irresistible Jain creation brings together smoky aromas, exciting textures, and a deliciously spicy kick in every bite!
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add the Jain spicy devil sauce, chilli sauce, and tomato ketchup. Add soy sauce, red chilli flakes, and black pepper powder. Mix well on low heat. Dissolve the cornflour in a little water and add it to the sauce. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth and slightly thick. Add water as needed to achieve a pourable consistency. Keep the sauce aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok. Add capsicum, baby corn, and zucchini. Stir-fry on high heat until the vegetables are slightly tender and crunchy. Add the cooked rice and Mexican/Oriental seasoning. Add a little black pepper and salt. Toss gently for 2–3 minutes. Add 1–2 tbsp of the prepared devil sauce and mix well. Finish with lemon juice and keep aside.
Cut the paneer into bite-sized pieces. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add the paneer and lightly sear until golden on the outside. Add 2–3 tbsp of the spicy devil sauce. Toss gently until the paneer is evenly coated. Keep warm for plating.
Heat the sizzler plate thoroughly. Place a cabbage leaf on the hot plate, if desired. Add butter or a little oil to create the sizzling effect. Carefully arrange the spicy rice in the centre or on one side.
Place the devil-coated paneer beside the rice. Arrange the stir-fried vegetables around the rice. Pour the remaining spicy devil sauce over the paneer or serve it separately. Sprinkle sesame seeds, if desired. Garnish according to your Jain kitchen protocol.
Serve immediately while the plate is sizzling and the sauce is hot. The rice should be flavourful, the vegetables crunchy, and the paneer coated in a spicy, glossy devil sauce.
