How to Cook
01

Prepare the Mexican Rice

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add capsicum and sweet corn. Sauté on medium heat until the vegetables are slightly tender but retain their crunch. Add the cooked rice, Mexican seasoning, red chilli flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix gently and cook for 2–3 minutes. Add lemon juice, mix well, and keep aside.

02

Prepare the Beans

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add the boiled beans and a pinch of salt. Add a little Mexican seasoning and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beans are well seasoned. Keep aside.

03

Prepare the Jain Salsa

Place the Jain salsa in a bowl. Adjust the salt, lemon juice, and seasoning according to taste. Mix well and keep refrigerated until serving.

04

Prepare the White Sauce

Warm the prepared Jain white sauce in a pan on low heat. Stir continuously to maintain a smooth consistency. Add a pinch of black pepper and salt if required. Keep the sauce warm without allowing it to boil excessively.

05

Fry the Jain Patti

Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer. Fry the Jain patties until golden brown and crisp. Remove and place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Keep aside for plating.

06

Prepare the Sizzler Plate

Heat the sizzler plate thoroughly. Carefully place a cabbage leaf on the hot plate, if desired. Add 1 tbsp butter or oil to create the sizzling effect. Arrange the Mexican rice on one side. Place the seasoned beans beside the rice. Add the crispy Jain patties. Arrange the nachos chips on the plate. Pour the warm white sauce over the designated portion. Serve the Jain salsa separately or place it alongside the nachos.

07

Final Presentation

Garnish with a small amount of Mexican seasoning. Add fresh coriander only if permitted by your Jain kitchen protocol. Serve immediately while the plate is sizzling and the patti remains crisp.

Tip — Add the nachos and salsa just before serving to preserve the nachos’ crunch and maintain the freshness of the salsa.
