How to Cook
01

Bloom the saffron

Soak saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for 10 minutes to release color and aroma.

02

Heat the milk

Pour milk into a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

03

Infuse with spices

Reduce heat to low. Add the bloomed saffron, crushed cardamom, and nutmeg powder. Simmer gently, letting the milk reduce slightly.

04

Sweeten and add nuts

Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add most of the almonds, pistachios, and cashews, reserving a little for garnish.

05

Finish and serve

Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat. Serve hot, or chill and serve cold, garnished with reserved nuts and a few saffron strands.
