1. Commitment

Aadaten Private Limited is committed to fair, prompt, and transparent resolution of all grievances raised by Users, Sellers, Exhibition Visitors, Exhibitors, Restaurant & Cloud Kitchen Customers, and any other stakeholders of the Platform. This Policy is established in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 (Rule 6), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

The Grievance Officer has been duly authorised by Aadaten's Board of Directors to receive, investigate, and resolve grievances on behalf of the Company.

3. Types of Grievances Covered

Order-related: Non-delivery, delayed delivery, wrong item delivered, damaged item.

Product quality: Ingredient non-compliance, adulteration, packaging defect, short weight.

Refund-related: Refund not received, incorrect refund amount.

Account-related: Unauthorised access, account suspension, billing disputes.

Seller conduct: Seller misrepresentation, Jain ingredient policy violation, abusive communication.

Privacy & data: Suspected data breach, unauthorised use of personal data, requests for data access/erasure.

Marketplace: Counterfeit or infringing products, IP violations.

Exhibition: Stall booking disputes, cancellation refunds, venue complaints.

Restaurant/Cloud Kitchen: Food safety concerns, order accuracy, hygiene.

Any other concern relating to the use of the Platform.

4. Grievance Submission Process

Step 1 — Self-Service: Log in to aadaten.com > 'My Orders' > raise a return/complaint request. Most standard order issues are resolved at this stage within 24–48 hours.

Step 2 — Customer Support: Contact Aadaten Customer Support via WhatsApp (9004444039) or email (legalsupport@aadaten.com) with your Order ID and issue description.

Step 3 — Formal Grievance: If the issue is not resolved in Steps 1–2, submit a formal grievance to the Grievance Officer at legalsupport@aadaten.com with subject line: 'FORMAL GRIEVANCE — [Order ID / Issue Type]'.

Step 4 — Escalation: If the Grievance Officer's resolution is unsatisfactory, you may approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (District/State/National as applicable under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019) or the Data Protection Board of India (for privacy matters).

Complex cases (e.g., Seller fraud, large-value disputes, legal proceedings) may require additional time beyond 30 days. The Grievance Officer will communicate expected timelines in such cases.

6. Seller / Vendor Grievances

Sellers with grievances related to account suspension, commission disputes, payout delays, or listing violations may submit a formal grievance to legalsupport@aadaten.com with subject line 'SELLER GRIEVANCE — [Seller ID / Issue]'. The same 48-hour acknowledgement and 30-day resolution SLA applies.

7. Exhibition & Event Grievances

Grievances relating to exhibition stall bookings, cancellations, or event conduct should be submitted to legalsupport@aadaten.com with subject line 'EXHIBITION GRIEVANCE — [Edition Number / Issue]' within 7 days of the event.

8. Limitation

The Grievance Officer cannot override applicable Indian laws, court orders, or regulatory directives. The Grievance Officer's resolution is binding on Aadaten but Users retain the right to approach statutory consumer forums and courts.

9. Annual Report

In compliance with the IT Intermediary Guidelines, 2021, Aadaten will publish a monthly/annual Grievance Report on the Platform (as required) detailing the number and category of grievances received and resolved.
